Robin Hood and

IvyWise Supports the Robin Hood Foundation Dr. Kat and the team were honored to support the Robin Hood Foundation at this week’s annual fundraising gala. The Robin Hood Foundation works to fight poverty in New York City and the foundation raised donations totaling $57 million dollars Monday evening, 100 percent of which will go to organizations that serve families living in poverty. A fan of Robin Hood, jumped at the chance to contribute to the cause. In addition to supporting Robin Hood’s mission, we applaud their efforts to support schools and programs that empower New Yorkers to reach their goals. Since being founded in 1988, the Robin Hood Foundation has raised more than one billion dollars and we are thrilled that Monday’s event will benefit the 1.8 million New Yorkers living in poverty. Robin Hood transformed the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan to a subway-themed soiree, where almost 4,000 attendees were treated to hosts Brian Williams (NBC Nightly News) and Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live) and performances by Rihanna and Neil Young. During the event, Robin announced a partnership with the X PRIZE that encourages citizens from around the globe to develop plans to end poverty. IvyWise works with students in more than 30 countries worldwide and we are so excited to see how organizations make an impact on a global scale. How would you approach this issue locally or globally?
